Introduction
Retumbadero Alto is a classical peak of the Cordillera near Santiago. It is located almost at the end of the Lo Valdés valley, and makes for a perfect weekend goal. There are two main routes: the Normal Route or North Ridge, and another one which starts further south, and which accesses the summit via a long and interesting couloir, called "Canalón de los Españoles".
